Digitzing

For details on the setup/digitizing fees see the “Setup Fees”.  Digitizing is based on a $40/hour charge. (Digitizing for a hat is different than a shirt and may require further adjustments and/or digitizing.)

Stock designs are available in the 2 catalogs. There is no setup charge on these and standard text can be added without incurring further cost.

Embroidery cost is $.75/1,000 stitches. A quote will be provided before digitizing is complete and will be a range such as $5-8 per embroidery.

Minimum $5 embroidery charge on all apparel purchased directly through Seaglass and $10 on all provided apparel.

Intricacy – A stitch can be no longer than 1 mm because of the size of the needle/thread; This limits the intricacy of a logo in a small area (left chest). Examples: Tiny lettering will look blurry and “fall into” the fabric slightly. Thin overlapping, tight lines may be removed.

Fabrics – There is no guarantee we can work with thin fabrics; each time the needle creates a stitch a hole is put into the fabric, making the fabric unstable and much more delicate. All fabrics will be evaluated before embroidery is done.

Size – Ball caps are limited in the height of the logo. It is recommended the logo is no taller than 2”. A left chest logo should be no bigger than 4.5” in diameter.

Hooping – All items must be “hooped” in order to be embroidered. If there is a question as to an item (bag, jacket etc) fitting into our machine we will double check to make sure it can be hooped before beginning work.
